Marvelous place to stay!

Amblewood Guest House means: hospitality, great location, beautiful & well maintained rooms, pool and a sun terrace with a excellent view over Houtbay.

Trevor and June are very helpfull hosts. It feels like coming home. We spend 3 days at Amblewood. Every morning a excellent breakfast (fresh fruit, cereals, cheese, eggs, sausages, bacon and good coffee).

The beach and the center of Houtbay is just a 10 minute walk (3 minutes by car). It's also a good spot to stay if you want visit Capetown (citycenter 25 min by car, the botanic garden of Kirstenbosch and Camps Bay are even closer).
Late afternoon the sun terrace and pool is a good places to relax (with a lovely overview of Houtbay bay).
Next time in Houtbay/Capetown we will stay definitly here.
